Summary:

The Customer Service team is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Customer Service Representative. The PESI Inc. customer service team is collaborative, fast paced and continuously changing and evolving to meet the demands of our business and customer needs. This role is responsible for acting as a liaison between our customers and PESI. As a representative you will be responsible for providing information to customers in response to inquiries about PESI products and services.


Responsibilities:

  • Professionally monitor and handle incoming phone and e-mail requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions in our system(s)
  • Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to; registration, program content, continuing education credits, webcasts, product orders and association memberships in a timely manner
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
  • Provide technical support for accessing online registrations and online programs
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers
  • Sell products and services by informing customers of relevant add-ons’ and promotions
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, re-ships, cancelations and/or exchanges
  • Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Responsible for meeting customer service standards outlined by PESI Inc.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience in customer service/support
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or help desk capacity strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal as the role requires extensive phone use
  • Has "thick skin" and is able to handle complaints and unpleasant customers
  • Ability to research and resolve complex customer issues and possess strong decision making and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed (Monday – Friday hours vary from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm)
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Must type a minimum of 35 WPM
  • Some experience with multiline telephones and strong technical aptitude preferred
  • Possess the skill and ability to quickly pick up new technologies and software
  • Knowledge of technical support issues related to Internet connectivity and PC troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Reader

You’ll be joining a dynamic and fun team of marketers that are passionate about creating world-class innovative digital marketing solutions to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. The Digital Marketing internship is an exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to digital strategies that support the company’s overall marketing and business objectives.

We are looking for the Digital Marketing Intern to work through May 2019 and will expect to approximately work 15-30 hours per week depending on the student’s schedule.


Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Setting up email marketing communications according to schedule
  • Building database queries for email communications
  • Tracking and reporting campaign performance
  • Building online learning components within course portals
  • Communicating with customers via forums and/or email to address content questions
  • Assisting marketing staff with various projects

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with strong entrepreneurial drive
  • Highly coachable and intellectually curious
  • Minimum of 2 years combined experience and education in marketing, sales or customer service
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency in Windows applications including Microsoft Excel
  • HTML knowledge or experience is a plus

You’ll be joining a dynamic and fun team of marketers that are passionate about creating world-class innovative digital marketing solutions to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. You’ll play a crucial role in helping our team to reach the right people at the right time with the right message.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools (e.g. website, emails, social media and blogs).
  • Write compelling and strategic marketing content.
  • Develop HTML email templates and execute email campaigns using an EMS.
  • Develop, execute and maintain social media campaigns.
  • Measure and analyze digital campaign performance.
  • Proactively research and stay up-to-date on our audience’s preferences.
  • Make data driven decisions related to the design and development of new campaigns/content ideas.
  • Communicate with cross-departmental stakeholders and speakers/experts.
  • Be curious. Monitor and stay current on industry digital marketing trends, tools and resources.

Requirements:

  • College Degree in Marketing or related field and/or relevant sales/marketing experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing.
  • Coachable, motivated and entrepreneurial-minded individual.
  • HTML experience with the ability to code and debug emails using an HTML editor, i.e. Dreamweaver.
  • Experience with digital marketing copywriting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage production schedules and changing initiatives while meeting deadlines.
  • Motivation to quickly learn new technology.
  • Excellent problem solving skills in challenging and fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with an Email Marketing System (EMS), i.e. Silverpop
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics service
  • Experience with social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Experience with graphics editing and management, i.e. Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with video editing software similar to Adobe Premiere Elements
  • Experience with blogging and content management systems
  • Experience with SEO is a plus
