Summary:

This is an opportunity to build Evergreen Certification LLC’s competitive advantage by providing excellent customer support and management, finding operational efficiency, and onboarding new certifications that support overall sales, marketing and business objectives. This position involves working on a detail-oriented and driven team, as well as cross-functionally across the organization to ensure certifications can go to market effectively and that customers are provided the tools they need to succeed. The work environment is fast paced and dynamic with a focus on customer management & retention, creative resolutions to operational challenges, certification production, marketing, and distribution.


Responsibilities:

  • Professionally interact with customers via incoming phone and e-mail requests, and ensure that customer interactions are addressed promptly and thoroughly
  • Create and distribute professional certification documentation to customers
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience as well as business objectives
  • Provide support and certification knowledge to internal and external customers
  • Facilitate set up of certifications within Evergreen Certifications’ platforms, including but not limited to adding new certifications, updating certification content, and continually exploring entrepreneurial ways to maximize sales
  • Develop and implement marketing copy for certifications and sales campaigns
  • Conduct analysis and develop strategies that reflect customer demands related to trends, certification life cycle and promotional response
  • Assist in other operational and promotional efforts as directed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in business, operations, or retail merchandising management, planning, marketing analytics, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in one or more areas of the continuing education industry, product planning, or customer support and service
  • Organized self-starter who shows initiative and drive, with an ability to interact with a diverse group of professionals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
  • Excellent creative problem solving skills in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, written & verbal, with skills in writing marketing copy
  • Ability to make decisions independently and follow through on tasks with limited supervision
  • Desire to grow company revenue along with growing personally & professionally
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in Windows applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Digital marketing experience is greatly desired, but will train as needed
  • HTML experience is greatly desired, but will train as needed

Summary:

The Customer Service team is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Customer Service Representative. The PESI Inc. customer service team is collaborative, fast paced and continuously changing and evolving to meet the demands of our business and customer needs. This role is responsible for acting as a liaison between our customers and PESI. As a representative you will be responsible for providing information to customers in response to inquiries about PESI products and services.


Responsibilities:

  • Professionally monitor and handle incoming phone and e-mail requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions in our system(s)
  • Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to; registration, program content, continuing education credits, webcasts, product orders and association memberships in a timely manner
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
  • Provide technical support for accessing online registrations and online programs
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers
  • Sell products and services by informing customers of relevant add-ons’ and promotions
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, re-ships, cancelations and/or exchanges
  • Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Responsible for meeting customer service standards outlined by PESI Inc.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience in customer service/support
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or help desk capacity strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal as the role requires extensive phone use
  • Has "thick skin" and is able to handle complaints and unpleasant customers
  • Ability to research and resolve complex customer issues and possess strong decision making and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed (Monday – Friday hours vary from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm)
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Must type a minimum of 35 WPM
  • Some experience with multiline telephones and strong technical aptitude preferred
  • Possess the skill and ability to quickly pick up new technologies and software
  • Knowledge of technical support issues related to Internet connectivity and PC troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Reader
