EMILY L. STEVENS, PH.D., LMHC, LPC, NCC, BCN

Emily Stevens, Ph.D., LMHC, LPC, NCC, BCN, is a psychotherapist and consultant specializing in combining brain-based research, cutting edge interventions and clinical approaches into a comprehensive approach to treatment. Her areas of clinical expertise include working with children, adolescents and adults with Anxiety and OCD, trauma and emotional dysregulation. Emily has worked extensively with children and adolescents in outpatient and residential treatment to assess and treat anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety and trauma.

Emily’s background and clinical experience has provided her with a unique approach to working with clients with a variety of disorders and therapies such as neurofeedback, alpha-stim/CES, BAUD and AVS. She combines brain-based therapies with CBT, EMDR and specialized protocols to create individualized treatment protocols. She maintains a national client base specializing treatment and protocols to produce measurable long-term outcomes. She is a frequent speaker and has participated in numerous television and radio programs on mental health.

Emily has a B.S. in Educational Psychology and a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Psychology. She is a National Board Certified Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Neurotherapist. She currently resides in Florida where she maintains a private practice as a psychotherapist and clinical consultant.
