ANNE THOMAS, PHD, ANP-BC, GNP, FAANP

Anne Thomas is the Dean of a School of Nursing in the Midwest. She has been a clinically-active adult/gerontological nurse practitioner for over 25 years and is frequently involved with the care of elder patients exhibiting challenging behaviors.

Her extensive clinical experience includes positions in tertiary care, long-term care facilities, rural health clinics, private practices and community-based centers. Dr. Thomas has published in peer-reviewed journals and holds leadership positions in several national nursing organizations. Her area of research interest is health care decision-making, particularly with older adults with chronic illness.
