ROCHELLE CATON, ESQ

Rochelle Caton, Esquire., is the Director of the Office of Client Advocacy, in the Office of General Counsel at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. She earned her BS in Finance, summa cum laude, and her JD, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. Attorney Caton’s previous experience includes working in private practice and as a staff attorney at Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities. Her legal career has focused on civil rights, including advocating for incarcerated juveniles against the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and for clients in mental health facilities and facilities for people with developmental disabilities.
