ALYSIA ABBOTT

Alysia Abbott  is the author of Fairyland, A Memoir of My Father. Her article, "Love in the Time of Autism" was published in the August 2013 issue of Psychology Today. Her work has also appeared in Vogue, Real Simple, Salon, and TheAtlantic.com. She is a graduate of the New School's MFA program and was a contributing producer at WNYC radio. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband, her neurotypical daughter and her nonverbal autistic son.
