Marygrace K. Lomboy is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Palliative Medicine Consultants and Hospice and Community Care, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She holds certifications in Family Practice, Advanced Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care, and also a certification for wound care through the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Certification Board®. Marygrace has over 30 years of experience in nursing, and has gained extensive experience caring for patients with end stage disease through working with hospice and palliative care for the past 13 years. She has developed a palliative wound care consultative service for nursing home and home care patients. She has traveled to third world countries to lecture on palliative wound care, end of life care, and to provide emergency relief services related to wound care post-catastrophic events.

Marygrace has presented at both national and international meetings providing seminars in palliative care, wound management, compassion fatigue and resiliency training. She has a great passion for providing dignity and comfort to those suffering, especially at the end of life. Her expertise is reflected through the creation of a website, walkingonsacredground.com, which serves as an education resource and a comfort for both patients and caregivers confronting end of life issues.
