KENT B. PROVOST, PHD

Kent B. Provost, Ph.D., is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive supervision training related to different supervision models, approaches, and his own supervised supervision. He has practiced and conducted individual, triadic and group supervision for over 10 years. Dr. Provost has supervised first-tiered licensed clinicians working towards their private practice licensing and is a long standing member of the American Counseling Association and Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. He has worked in numerous clinical settings including his own private practice, and actively supervises clinicians working with a broad variety of diverse clients. Dr. Provost teaches supervision and other professional workshops around the country.

 

Dr. Provost is an award-winning assistant professor in the Counselor Education program at Chicago’s Argosy University, and has taught masters and doctoral students since 2009. At Argosy, he has the privilege of being the seminar and individual supervisor/trainer for the Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral students engaged in supervising masters’ level counseling students in training.
