LISA SNEAD, ESQUIRE

Lisa Snead, Esquire, graduated with a B.A. from the College of William and Mary, cum laude, and from the UT School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was accepted into the Order of the Coif.  In 2009, Lisa received a two-year Skadden Foundation Fellowship to begin working with domestic violence survivors with disabilities at Disability Rights Texas.  After her grant ended in 2011, she began working with individuals in the state supported living centers and state hospitals, working with clients on community integration and investigating rights violations, abuse, and neglect.  She is one of the supervising attorneys on the Institutional Rights and Civil Liberties Team, supervising advocates and attorneys who go into institutions, and has her own active caseload.
