Reviews
“Dr. Moonshine’s Dialectical Behavior Therapy Guidebook for Clinicians is the ideal tool for introducing ‘real world’ DBT to graduate students, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and all health professionals who want to review new applications of an extremely useful treatment. Her extensive clinical experience with DBT is evident in this practical text that includes a variety of worksheets that clinicians can readily integrate into their work. As a professor in a training program that emphasizes evidence-based treatment, I cannot imagine a more comprehensive and innovative teaching tool for training my students in how to actually use DBT in any clinical setting.”
- Michael Christopher, Ph.D. Assistant Professor at School of Professional Psychology

“DBT can be confusing and theoretical. Dr. Moonshine puts her unique slant on it, incorporating new ideas to clarify fundamental DBT concepts. These volumes as well as the worksheets in Volume II are practical and help the counselor and client develop competence in the skills.”
- Emily Hedges, M.A., CADC III, Site Leader at Western Psychological Services & Counseling Services

“It’s a great book for students and people who want to learn DBT or for those who just want a new perspective. The examples and handouts make it very easy to apply to clients or see how you would use the skills in your practice. It’s really easy to understand and help clarify some previously confusing aspects of DBT. This book presents DBT as very flexible and easy to incorporate into your practice no matter what your orientation.”
- Dean Charles, M.S., Counselor at Springbrook Hazelton
