Overview the Business Development Team:
The business development team is a group of strategic thinkers who create and market dynamic continuing education seminars and courses. This team focuses on identifying and evaluating topics for mental health, healthcare and rehab professionals that are both relevant and exciting for professionals to attend. Additionally, this team builds relationships with expert speakers, trainers, and authors in the fields of psychotherapy and healthcare, assisting them in the design of seminars and online courses, developing clear marketing strategies and compelling sales copy; while collaborating with a small, close-knit team. This is a team of experience business-minded professionals with whom you will grow and expand your knowledge by collaboration and innovation.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Identify the latest trends, techniques, approaches, topics, and voices in the field psychotherapy, healthcare and rehabilitation that are most relevant to professionals
  • Turn those ideas into compelling seminars, courses, and training programs that professionals will find useful and want to attend
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing presenters
  • Create data-driven direct mail and digital marketing campaigns through writing compelling sales copy and determining the most pertinent target audience
  • Maintain a robust knowledge of the field of psychotherapy and healthcare 
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies and align future campaigns with current data and trends.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively by creating goals for yourself, meeting deadlines, and communicating ideas clearly to team members

What You Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in one or more areas marketing, new business development, product 
  • development or business ownership  
  • Budgeting, analysis and negotiation skills 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Willingness to take risks 
  • Evening/weekend calls/emails when emergencies might arise with speakers and travel issues 
  • Flexibility to be self-motivated but also excel in a team environment 
  • A keen entrepreneurial drive 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail 
  • Excellent problem solving skills in a challenging and fast paced environment  
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft applications 
  • Some travel required, up to 15%

Overview the Customer Service Team:
Passionate about helping people?  Join our growing Customer Success Team at PESI where we provide amazing and personalized customer support for behavioral health, rehab, and healthcare professionals around the world!  Make a difference as we provide Best-In-Class customer service by being empowered to do what’s best for our customers each and every day, so they can provide services to tens of thousands of clients a year.    

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable, and document interactions in our systems
  • Monitor and handle a wide variety of incoming phone and e-mail requests from customers
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience
  • Provide technical support for accessing online registrations and online programs
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers
  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions
  • Collaborate with other departments by working on projects outside of the customer service area
  • Work during your scheduled Mon-Fri hours and the occasional overtime as needed (currently hiring for 10am-7pm central time shift)
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience in customer service/support
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or help desk capacity strongly preferred
  • A passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
  • Capacity to research and resolve complex customer issues and are comfortable making decisions independently
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Must type a minimum of 35 WPM
  • Possess the skill and ability to quickly pick up new technologies and software
  • Has the ability to handle a variety of customer dispositions
  • You’re flexible with change and comfortable working in the grey
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Reader
  • High-speed internet required if working remote

Overview of the Information Technology Team:
The PESI Information Technology Team is responsible for supporting the efforts of all PESI organizations – from business development to fulfillment. From desktop support to building, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale systems, we work together to change how we reach our customers by developing new and innovative solutions to create efficiencies, expand our capabilities, and provide our customers with a best-in-class experience.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Apply a mixture of proven and cutting-edge technologies, including .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, React, and TypeScript
  • Architect and build new, modern, cloud- and web-based systems that will shape the future of our business – from initial requirements gathering thru deployment
  • Create primarily within the Microsoft stack writing C# on the server, with opportunities to leverage other tools and languages as fitting
  • Participate and lead collaborative discussions on current and future projects and solutions
  • Debug applications and system issues using Visual Studio, PowerShell, and your go-to toolchain
  • Integrate business processes with third-party web APIs
  • Engage in meaningful work that has a real impact on society!
