Overview the Business Development Team:
The business development team is a group of strategic thinkers who create and market dynamic continuing education seminars and courses. This team focuses on identifying and evaluating topics for mental health, healthcare and rehab professionals that are both relevant and exciting for professionals to attend. Additionally, this team builds relationships with expert speakers, trainers, and authors in the fields of psychotherapy and healthcare, assisting them in the design of seminars and online courses, developing clear marketing strategies and compelling sales copy; while collaborating with a small, close-knit team. This is a team of experience business-minded professionals with whom you will grow and expand your knowledge by collaboration and innovation.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Identify the latest trends, techniques, approaches, topics, and voices in the field psychotherapy, healthcare and rehabilitation that are most relevant to professionals
  • Turn those ideas into compelling seminars, courses, and training programs that professionals will find useful and want to attend
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing presenters
  • Create data-driven direct mail and digital marketing campaigns through writing compelling sales copy and determining the most pertinent target audience
  • Maintain a robust knowledge of the field of psychotherapy and healthcare 
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies and align future campaigns with current data and trends.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively by creating goals for yourself, meeting deadlines, and communicating ideas clearly to team members

What You Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in one or more areas marketing, new business development, product 
  • development or business ownership

Overview the Product Administration Team:
The PESI Product Administration Team is responsible for building and maintaining the extensive catalog of products across PESI’s brands, as well as configuring live in-person and live virtual events. This position involves working on a detail-oriented and driven team, as well as cross-functionally across the organization to ensure superior products can go to market effectively.

Our Product Administration Team helps connect knowledge with need by ensuring the accessibility of PESI’s live events, digital products and physical products. The Product Administration Specialist will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where growth and professionalism will be achieved largely through sound judgment, sense of urgency, integrity, creativity, and a balance between strategic and tactical skills.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Set up events and physical/digital products within PESI’s proprietary commerce and learning management platforms; this includes building out new products and events, updating product content, and continually exploring entrepreneurial ways to improve the user experience and maximize sales
  • Build product sales pages and web pages (using basic HTML coding) that drive sales while providing excellent customer experiences
  • Collaborate with multiple domestic and international departments to ensure accurate and timely setup of products and programs

Overview the Materials Management Team:
The PESI Materials Management Team works quickly and efficiently to deliver educational books and products across the world. This close-knit team is responsible for all warehouse operations, including picking, packing, staging, receiving and inventory. Additionally, our team provides strong customer service to vendors and customers by providing shipping quotes, meeting delivery deadlines, and resolving discrepancies when needed. PESI’s Materials Management team also works with the business management and product teams to plan and operate successful virtual bookstores.

The Materials Management Team plays an important role in fulfilling PESI’s mission of connecting knowledge with need!

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Provide overall leadership and support to the materials management department including assigning duties, overseeing work performance, and allocating resources based on department need
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and all other day-to-day operations of the warehouse
  • Oversee and manage the logistics for transporting products to customers
  • Implement operational policies and procedures, optimizing warehouse efficiencies

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking an experienced digital marketing strategist to join our team full-time (remote or in-office). You are passionate about direct response copywriting and marketing educational programs to mental health professionals. You’re curious to learn how we’ve been successful and the unique ways in which we speak to our audience, but you also come with innovative ideas to continue to grow our audience and our sales. You’re able to pivot based on data trends and collaborate well with team members both within and outside of the marketing department.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Use strong direct-response copywriting that powerfully positions our trainings in front of our audience of mental health professionals

REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or related field and/or relevant professional experiences

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and be constantly curious about ways to improve performance of campaigns
  • Strong self-organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
