Overview the Business Development Team:
The business development team is a group of strategic thinkers who create and market dynamic continuing education seminars and courses. This team focuses on identifying and evaluating topics for mental health, healthcare and rehab professionals that are both relevant and exciting for professionals to attend. Additionally, this team builds relationships with expert speakers, trainers, and authors in the fields of psychotherapy and healthcare, assisting them in the design of seminars and online courses, developing clear marketing strategies and compelling sales copy; while collaborating with a small, close-knit team. This is a team of experience business-minded professionals with whom you will grow and expand your knowledge by collaboration and innovation.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Identify the latest trends, techniques, approaches, topics, and voices in the field psychotherapy, healthcare and rehabilitation that are most relevant to professionals
  • Turn those ideas into compelling seminars, courses, and training programs that professionals will find useful and want to attend
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing presenters

Overview the Client Solutions Team:
The PESI Client Solutions Team delivers customer service and technical support for behavioral health, rehab, and healthcare professionals around the world!  We provide Best-In-Class service by engaging our customers through answering phone calls, emails and live chats.  Our goal is to support and assist professionals in identifying and utilizing our educational programming, not only to earn continuing education credit, but apply the knowledge gained from our experts to improve the lives of their clients and patients.  

The support our Client Solutions Team gives - not only to our customers, but to other departments in the company - ensures delivery of PESI’s world-class programs.  These programs allow professionals to treat their clients and improve patient outcomes for tens of thousands of adults and children each year!   

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Professionally monitor and handle incoming phone and e-mail requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions in our system(s)

Overview of the Graphics Team:
The Graphics team works closely across the organization including with the sales, e-marketing & business development teams to deliver our organization’s message and reach our desired audience!   

The Graphics team contributes to one or more of PESI’s many platforms - websites, social media, email and direct marketing campaigns as well as graphic design enhancements, along with the creative content of PESI, and other divisions, online presence.  

The candidate in this role will need to become familiar with PESI’s industry "lingo" and regulations while creating professional, current, informative and fun marketing brochures and digital media to create a cohesive online brand.

  • Execute creative and marketing assets across all marketing channels, including, but not limited to: digital banner ads, landing pages, social media graphics, Email templates, campaigns, web/blog stories, collateral, digital signage, and more

Overview of the Position:
Our Multimedia Production Internship is a paid, semester-long position designed to develop stronger technical, communication, and time management skills, while providing the opportunity to gain hands-on production and audio/visual experience.

As you progress throughout the internship, you will work on the Webinar team, supporting and producing behavioral health, rehab, and healthcare virtual events and digital products. You will do so by working alongside Business Development Managers, Continuing Education Administrators, and support personnel to deliver engaging digital experiences to professionals across the nation. Your efforts will help us successfully meet our mission, “Connecting Knowledge with Need”.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Prepare and give technical instruction to presenters regarding their virtual events
  • Launch and execute live virtual events using Zoom or other similar online platforms
  • Provide technical support to presenters and attendees in a live, fast-paced environment
  • Manage webinar interactivity: chat capabilities, polling, online Q&A, breakout rooms
  • Complete post-event editing of digital products

  • 1–3 years of digital marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of and experience creating measurable marketing outcomes including sales leveraging of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with Hubspot, Silverpop, or other email marketing systems
  • Skilled in graphic design programs like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to create and edit video content for multi-platform use and distribution
  • Creative copy writing experience and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to take data-driven, calculated risks
  • Adept multitasking skills with the ability to quickly adapt to shifting goals and deadlines
