CAROL KAUFFMAN, MA/CCC-SLP

Carol Kauffman, MA/CCC-SLP is a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist with over 30 years experience. As director of speech and hearing at Madison County Hospital in London, Ohio, she helped implement the Attention-Behavior-Language Evaluation (ABLE) Clinic in conjunction with the occupational and mental health departments. For twelve years she provided diagnostic and consultative services for children and adults with a variety of language, attention, and mental health concerns within a multidisciplinary framework. In 1995, Ms. Kauffman founded Language Learning Consultants, which provides educational services and materials for parents, clinicians and educators of children with language and attention disorders. She has presented seminars at the state and national levels on topics related to ADHD and language disorders in children, and has authored several published articles on attention and language disorders in preschoolers. She is also the instructor of an on-line course on ADHD and communication disorders for other professionals. Ms. Kauffman earned her Master's degree from The Ohio State University and was an adjunct faculty member for two years.
