DIANE WARNS, PT
Diane Warns is a RESNA certified Physical Therapist with over 25 years of experience in the area of developmental disabilities and seating and mobility. Diane received her BS in physical therapy from SUNY Stony Brook in 1990. She has held positions in private as well as public schools, orthopedic practices and ICFs. In all these settings, she has provided a full pallet of therapy services, including all aspects of seating and mobility.
Diane was the Director of Physical Therapy at UCPN of Nassau County where she was responsible for all adult, as well as outpatient, physical therapy clinics, including their very busy Seating and Mobility Clinic. This is one of the few, and largest, seating clinics of its kind in the area.
Diane has continued her study and practice, concentrating on the area of wheelchair seating and mobility as a means to best serve her population and provide them with independence and mobility.
