Cindy Bauer, MSOT, OTR/L, is a veteran occupational therapist with over 22 years of OT practice in the acute care setting. With extensive knowledge of splinting within the acute care realm, as well as acute care assessment and therapeutic intervention due to her vast experience in trauma, plastic surgery, orthopedics, and neurology, Cindy has a wealth of knowledge and a desire to make learning fun and clinically applicable. Cindy has served as an OTR/L within various trauma centers in St. Louis and the Central Illinois region, and serves as a clinical educator on multiple topics in the therapeutic arena, including splinting, with an extensive history of practice within the Central Illinois Burn Center, implementing various splinting applications, education and clinical support. Cindy is an experienced educator, who prides herself in the provision of quality education. She received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 1994.
