BRAEDEN TERPOU, PHD

Dr. Braeden Terpou completed his PhD from Western University in 2021 under the advisory of Dr. Ruth Lanius. He has published a number of research papers and reviews in the field of trauma and recovery. Braeden’s work uses fMRI and EEG to determine the neural underpinnings of trauma, where he’s especially interested in the lower-level, midbrain and brainstem stems, and how they contribute to trauma-related symptomatology. Currently, Braeden is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at McMaster University, partnered generously by Homewood Research Institute.
