Shawana S. Moore, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC, is a nationally recognized, board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner who specializes in providing women’s and gender-related care throughout the lifespan. Dr. Moore is committed to providing women’s and reproductive health care to underserved populations. In her work as a women’s health nurse practitioner with health care organizations, she has cared for women and the gender related populations across the lifespan, mostly in underserved areas, for more than a decade. Dr. Moore is the author of scholarly blogs and numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, and a contributor to national position statements for the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. She has helped develop podcasts and video productions focused on the promotion of health equity.
